We welcome any visit to our studio, which is located in the East Midlands between Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby. Our location puts us two hours away from most places in the UK and being situated between the M42 and M1 means that we are very easy to get to by car.
By car
M1 from the North
Leave the motorway at Junction 23 off the M1 and follow the A512 signposted Shepshed.
Continue along the A512 for approximately 5 miles until you pass a public house called The Bull's Head. Immediately after the Bull's Head take a left hand turn (Loughborough Lane - effectively you don't turn, but the main road bends to the right).
Follow Loughborough Lane for approximately 1 mile and as you climb the hill, Quiet Storm is immediately on the left just before the Jet petrol station. You will see our grey railings and signs.
M1 from the South
Leaving the M1 at J22 take the left hand lane and the second exit on the island sign posted A511 Ashby de la Zouch and Coalville.
When on the A511 immediately prepare to turn right - you will see the Flying Horse on your left immediately before the traffic light controlled island.
Once you have turned right at the traffic light controlled island the road crosses the M1 and you will approach two sets of traffic lights.
At the first set go straight and turn left at the second set - this is signposted Thringston and Whitwick.
This road will take you back over the M1 and into Whitwick (approximately 5 miles away) past a school, a quarry and eventually to our offices.
As you descend into Whitwick residential area you will arrive at a painted island - go straight over.
There are several traffic 'humps' and traffic calming methods but you will eventually see a JET petrol station on your right.
IMMEDIATELY after the JET petrol station on the right hand side is our car park - surrounded by grey railings - the entrance has plants and signage to let you know you have arrived at Quiet Storm.
M42/A42 from North or South
Leave the A42 at Junction 13 on the A511 signposted Coalville. Follow the A511 for approximately 5 miles until you arrive at a roundabout with a McDonald's where you need to take a left on Thornborough Road.
Follow Thornborough Road all the way until it terminates with a T-junction, here you need to turn left.
On your right will be a Jet petrol station and Quiet Storm is immediately after it. You will see our grey railings and signs.
By train
If you plan to arrive by train please let us know and wherever possible we will arrange for you to be picked up from and taken back to the most convenient railway station.
The nearest railway stations are: Loughborough (20 minutes), Leicester (35 minutes) and Derby (35 minutes).
By plane
East Midlands International Airport is only 15 minutes away. If you plan to arrive by plane please let us know and wherever possible we will arrange for you to be picked up from and taken back to the airport.
